The FX JetFish includes Yamaha's exclusive RecDeck - an extended rear recreational platform with ladder, custom JetFish fishing rack, esky and rod holders and a Garmin fish finder and GPS, delivering a complete “turnkey” fishing package.

This craft allows you to conveniently enjoy the unique capabilities of WaveRunner fishing including: easy single operator launching and retrieval, speed to your fishing location, easy maneuverability, shallow water access, along with the traditional excitement that comes with riding Yamaha’s legendary FX HO, 1.9 Litre, WaveRunner.

Premium Fishing Kit

The Premium Fishing Kit mounts directly to the RecDeck and includes a sturdy multi-use rack, JetFish branded 45L Engel esky fitted with custom-cut Udeck brag mat and 4 x rod holders.

Garmin Fish Finder and GPS

The factory-fitted 6-inch Garmin 65SV unit, comes with pre loaded maps, GT54 UHD externally mounted transducer and best in class SideVU, ClearVu and traditional sonars.

RecDeck

The RecDeck platform integrates directly with the swim platform and includes a built-in reboarding ladder and brackets, for easy connection with the Premium Fishing Kit.

JetFish Decals

To complete the premium look of the JetFish equipped FX HO, the craft is finished off with exclusive JetFish sticker decals.

Large 7" Touch Screen

7-inch glass touch screen increases brightness and visibility; customisable display GPS functionality*; and enhanced Auto Trim, top speed and acceleration settings. * Maps sold separately.

Sport Seat

The FX JetFish sport seat has been designed to comfortably seat up to three people. Separation of the front and rear sections makes maintenance and access to under-seat storage easy.

Naturally Aspirated 1.9 Litre High Output Engine

This new 1898cc, four-stroke, four-cylinder, 16-valve High Output Yamaha marine engine and 155mm high-pressure jet pump, replaces the 1812cc High Output motor that powered the previous year's HO model. This more powerful engine provides quicker and smoother acceleration and a higher top-end speed.

High Performance

The high performance top loader intake grate (extra scoop) improves the pump efficiency on the large capacity 1.9 Litre engine. This results in better acceleration, speed and less cavitation in choppy water conditions. * Image for illustration purposes only.

Feature Packed Glove Box

The FX glove box provides 16.5 litres of useable storage, including a dedicated smart grip phone holder, USB and 12V power outlets and blue LED illumination to make finding your belongings easer in low light. *Prior year model colour shown.

Footwell Drains

A first for the watercraft industry, all FX Series WaveRunners come with built-in footwell drains, delivering a dryer and more comfortable riding experience. *Prior year model colour shown.

Redesigned Steering

The handlebars are sleeker and more ergonomic with smaller control boxes and integrated single Start/Stop button switch. The steering column can be adjusted up or down for different riding styles. Two tie hooks have been added to either side of the steering column, for easier tying up to docks.

Multi-Mount Capability

All FX models come with a multi-mount base (only) allowing you to connect action cameras, fish-finders and other devices, using third-party multi-mount connection systems. * Purchased separately. Overseas mounting system and model colour shown.

Multiple Ride Modes

The FX series includes a number of ride modes to improve your riding experience. From Advanced Reverse Assist for easier launching to customisable speed settings including Comfort, Performance, Economy and Towing. *Prior year model colour shown.

Tow Hook

For additional on-water thrills and spills, all WaveRunners come with a strong tow hook allowing for the secure towing of inflatable tubes, wake boarders or skiers. * Overseas model colour shown.

Integrated Mirrors

Incorporating Yamaha’s trademark compact and edgy design styling, the integrated mirrors not only look good but aid rider visual awareness and safety. *Prior year model colour shown.

Cruise Assist and No Wake Mode

Cruise Assist allows the rider to set a consistent engine speed, helping to reduce throttle fatigue, improve fuel efficiency and help make longer trips more comfortable. 3 No Wake Mode settings cap the engine’s RPMs at an optimum idle speed, for travelling through no-wake zones and other restricted areas.

Electronic Trim

The electronic trim system allows the rider to quickly adjust how high or low the bow sits in the water, improving the crafts overall handling and on-water performance. This system can be engaged for improved cornering, carrying multiple passengers, towing or in rough conditions. * Overseas model colour shown.

RiDE Dual Control System

Yamaha’s patented RiDE is the world's first dual throttle handlebar control system, that makes handling easy, fun and intuitive. Pull the right lever to accelerate and the left lever to decelerate and for reverse. Release both levers, or in any combination, and the system reacts with precise control. *Prior year model colour shown.

Deep Reboarding Step and Handles

The FX WaveRunner series includes twin reboarding handles and a new wider and extra-deep ergonomically designed soft-touch reboarding step, making climbing back onboard extra easy and safe. The reboarding step conveniently tucks away when not in use. * Overseas model colour shown.

Large Extended Swim Platform

Roomy and comfortable, the large extended rear platform is the ideal place for soaking up the surroundings, getting in and out of the water or simply doing nothing at all. The decking platform is fitted with two-tone Hydro-Turf mats for optimum looks, grip and comfort. *Prior year colour shown.

Massive 168 Litre Storage

The FX Series WaveRunners come with a massive 168 litres of storage. This includes a larger and fully watertight glove box, under-seat storage bucket, rear stern rope storage and enlarged storage area under the front hood.

All Yamaha WaveRunners utilise open loop cooling, which is used by 99% of marine manufacturers. Open loop systems have been proven to be the most effective, reliable and maintenance free solution for marine environments, which means lower cost of ownership and less time off the water.
